Meet with a licensed therapist to help us understand your end goal and to put together a plan to get you there. After your consultation, we’ll set you up with simple daily tasks that will help you get the most out of your first 6 weeks.
Your first week, you’ll start to understand your nervous system and its role in your anxiety. Once you better understand it, you can learn how it can work for you instead of the other way around. Podcast episodes and workshops will help you address your questions and apply what you’re learning.
Learn to reduce your symptoms with mindfulness, CBT, and your logical brain. You’ll also learn face to face with our therapist workshops and be able to get answers to your questions on our Q&A podcast.
Learn the biological components of anxiety and how to manage them. You’ll also get insights into dietary supplements that might help your anxiety. Plus, you’ll get hands on tips and exercises from licensed therapists.
Learn and practice tips to overcome avoidance and perfectionism and to embrace the life you want. You will start to create a new, anxiety-free identity and will have therapist workshops and podcasts to continue to help you learn and apply new principles.

When signing up for either a workshop or chat membership, you will automatically be enrolled in the 6-week anxiety challenge. We find that the first six weeks of anything can be difficult, especially when trying to change your habits, thoughts, and beliefs. That’s why we’ve developed a 6-week challenge…to give you extra support during those first weeks and to help you change your routine, thoughts, and negative self-views so that you can overcome your anxiety.
During the first six weeks, you will have:
-Daily emails that will give you a few simple things to do or think about. These tasks will be at the core of helping you start changing your habits, thoughts, and limiting beliefs about yourself.
-Weekly lessons that cover the primary topics that a therapist would cover with you in months (or years) of 50-minute therapy sessions. The courses allow you to learn at your pace and will help you avoid the expense of learning them with a therapist.
-A podcast series that answers your questions related to your anxiety. If you don’t see answers to your questions, you can anonymously send your questions to our therapists, who will record answers or direct you to answers already recorded.
-Live workshops led by our expert therapists. You can attend unlimited workshops, selecting the topics that best apply to your needs. Plus, you will be able to work face to face (via video call) with our therapists and get your questions answered real time.
-Therapist Chat (available in the chat plan) that will allow you to send 1:1 messages to your therapist at any time, so you can get help applying concepts or resolving issues throughout the week instead of just during a session.
-Overt tools, which include journaling, goal setting, habit tracking, assessments, and more.
After the first six weeks, you can continue to receive all of the support Overt has to offer (courses/lessons, podcasts, workshops, chat, tools), but without the daily emails. That’s because we expect that after 6 weeks, you will have a good understanding of the resources available and what you need to do to continue working on your personal challenges, both related to anxiety and beyond. However, if you ever need direction or a more personalized plan, our therapists are waiting to help.
And once you have your anxiety under control, you can use your unlimited access to work on any other challenges you want to address (depression, emotional resilience, intimate relationships, interpersonal relationships, parenting teens). It is all available to you with your Overt membership.
Your six-week challenge includes unlimited workshops, which happen nearly every day (sometimes multiple times a day). To make sure we accommodate different schedules, workshops are held at different times (e.g. morning, afternoon, and evening) throughout the week.
Orientation and Consultation calls typically happen once a week and alternate between afternoon and evening calls to accommodate schedules.
If you choose the add on individual chat or video sessions with a licensed professional, you will be able to choose a recurring day and time that works for you.

Yes! If you aren’t seeing value from your ongoing Overt membership, you shouldn’t be paying for it. Cancel any time and you will no longer be charged for the ongoing monthly support.
