Director, Sales & Marketing
Jon Goddard
Growing up in Utah, Jon was instilled from an early age with a love and appreciation for his family. However, it didn’t take him long to realize that not everyone had the loving and supportive family that he did. He has since made it his mission to solve “family problems”, which he defines as problems that keep individuals from being present, supportive, and engaged with their loved ones.
In 2014, Jon graduated from Brigham Young University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration, emphasis in marketing. He worked in marketing for both small and large companies (e.g. Skywalker Trampolines, Nu Skin Enterprises), largely in health and wellness industries before returning to Brigham Young University to pursue an MBA. He graduated with his master’s in 2022 with an emphasis in entrepreneurship, ready to help start and grow companies with the mission of helping solve family problems.
Having experienced and witnessed the impact that poor emotional health can have on individuals and families, Jon was ecstatic to learn about Overt’s new approach to making therapy and wellness tools more effective and affordable. He joined the company shortly after, excited to help expand affordable and effective wellness services to all.
Jon lives in Springville with his loving wife, Catherine, and three amazing children. In his free time, he enjoys learning and playing with his family, dreaming up solutions to the world’s problems with his wife, DIY projects, playing basketball, skiing, and going on walks.

Therapist & Clinical Director
Shelby Schrader, CMHC
In over 13.5 years of experience, I have come to understand that we must treat individuals as a whole — true well being is found in addressing issues in emotional, environmental, financial, intellectual, occupational, physical, social, and spiritual wellness. I work diligently to integrate physical, emotional, and spiritual approaches. I strive to help individuals address cognitive distortions and irrational thought patterns while finding new self-acceptance and self-affirmation. Life is best lived when we love ourselves, and are able to have a positive outlook on the future. I tend to employ aspects of CBT, DBT, CPT, and ACT most frequently in therapy, but ultimately the therapeutic relationship is more important than the modality we choose. The therapy space is a sacred one, and I never take for granted the vulnerability that others share in that space. I have worked with various populations and specialize in personality disorders and severe mental illness. I earned my Bachelor’s of Arts Degree in Communication Studies from the University of Northern Colorado, and my Master’s of Science in Counseling Psychology from Evangel University. I have been in executive leadership for the majority of my career and I enjoy getting to lead and develop others to help them reach their highest potential!
In my free time, I just love to be active. I’m often found teaching group fitness, hiking the desert, walking my two favorite dogs, or deciding to do a new DIY project! I’m also committed to being a life-long learner and love to read the latest research on health and wellness as well as gain knowledge and skills for leadership development! I’m a devoted sports fan too, and am a huge fan of the Denver Nuggets, Denver Broncos, and Colorado Rockies!
Psychologist & Product Manager
Tracy Ellis, PsyD
I believe the mind, body and soul are deeply interconnected and all must be nurtured for optimal wellness. I help my clients realize their own unique strengths, abilities and inherent worth. I believe in being a companion to my client as we journey together in reaching your goals.
I received my doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology from Midwestern University and have worked in private practice since obtaining my degree. During my training I worked in a k-8 school, juvenile detention center, inpatient crisis unit and college counseling center.
I have experience working with all ages and a variety of mental health concerns. My interests include working with LGBTQIA+ individuals, obsessive compulsive disorder and other anxiety disorders and depressive disorders. I also enjoy working with children and their families to help change the course of problematic behaviors and be a witness to their hard emotions. In order to help my clients improve on their goals, I pull from a variety of modalities including: person-centered, ACT, DBT, CBT, EFT and behavioral therapy. Further, I strongly believe in a treatment team approach and often work with other providers, professionals, and teachers to ensure the best care.
I consider it a great honor to be allowed to witness my clients’ vulnerability. Asking for help is not easy and I hope to make the experience one of self-discovery and growth.
In my spare time I enjoy hiking, going on walks, getting enveloped in passion projects and spending time with my family.
