Yeah, basically. While one free emotional wellness session may just scratch the surface, we know it will provide helpful tools and exercises that can make a meaningful difference in how you handle stress, overwhelm, and disconnection.

We’re so committed to destigmatizing therapy that we’re willing to let you try it out completely free. Of course, we hope you’ll gel with your therapist or have an aha moment that brings you back to Overt for more, but most of all, we hope you’ll find all therapy a little less intimidating.

Your group session will have no more than 12 participants, plus your Wellness Pro. This session will give you a chance to see how you fit with your therapist and with a group dynamic. If you love it like we think you will, then we would love to have you back for more. If you find that you don’t gel with your therapist, feel free to sign up for a free session with another therapist to see if you can find a better fit. And if groups just aren’t your thing, take a look at our 1:1 therapy options with the therapist you just got to know.

While you are more than welcome to share, and your Wellness Pro will work hard to create a safe space, respectfully listening is also fine—just as long you’re still actively engaged. After all, this is your opportunity to see how you like meeting with a therapist, and you’ll get out of it what you put in. 

Your Wellness Pro has already agreed to comply with HIPAA, which means your information is safe with us—including what you say during your free session. Plus, your therapist will outline the guiding principles to which every member must agree.

Think of the app as your digital home base. You’ll take your assessment there and then try tools like goal setting, habit tracking, and journaling that empower your learning. That’s also where you will log in to your free online session.

If you decide to try one of our programs, therapist chat and your weekly education and exercises will be there, too!

You’ll have access to the app before and during your free session.

We designed our app for easy access. You can connect on your phone or tablet by downloading the app from the Apple or Android app stores. You can also join on your laptop or desktop (app in the Windows and Mac store or through the web app available through our website).

Once you’ve completed your free session, we hope you WILL enroll in one of our emotional wellness programs. Just select the challenge you’d like to start working on and the program that fits you best.
